Coaching Staff
Head Coach Chip Holland
Chip Holland has been involved in
Athens-area swimming since 1981, both as
an athlete and a coach. A four-year
letterman and team captain at Cedar
Shoals High School, he competed
collegiately at Georgia Southern College in
Statesboro. Chip has coached in Oconee
County since 2007, beginning with the
Oconee Swim League as well as with
Oconee County High School. He has also
coached the Oconee County Parks &
Recreation All-Star Team. Chip shares his
love of the sport with all ages and abilities,
helping them become better swimmers and
achieve their competitive goals. Chip is a
USA Swimming and ASCA Level 2 Certified
coach.
