Membership Information
White Group
The White Group offers the opportunity to begin year-round swimming with minimum commitment that
provides the flexibility to participate in other activities. Emphasis is on teaching fundamentals, self-
improvement and having fun. The prerequisite for the White group is to complete one length swimming
freestyle and one length swimming backstroke.
Practice Schedule - Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Monthly Fees - $100 per month or $285 per term (5% discount)
Annual Fees - Swim Oconee & USA Swimming Registration Fees - $115 ($50 SO - $65 USA Swimming)
Escrow Fees - $100 - Covers entry fees necessary to participate in USA Swimming sanctioned events.
Green Group
The Green Group is designed for swimmers who perform the competitive strokes well enough to learn more
advanced drills and techniques. Interval training and goal setting are also introduced at this level. New
stroke drills, practice sets and intervals are incorporated to learn new swimming concepts and race
strategies.
Practice Schedule - Monday through Friday 4:00-5:00 p.m. (swimmers practice any four days per week)
Monthly Fees - $115 per month or $350 per term (5% discount)
Annual Fees - Swim Oconee & USA Swimming Registration Fees - $115 ($50 SO - $65 USA Swimming)
Escrow Fees - $100 - Covers entry fees necessary to participate in USA Swimming sanctioned events.
Blue Group
The Blue Group is for committed and motivated swimmers willing to prepare for the higher levels of
swimming. While the primary emphasis is on training, there continues to be instruction in stroke mechanics
and racing techniques.
Practice Schedule - Monday through Friday 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Monthly Fees - $150 per month or $425 per term (5% discount)
Annual Fees - Swim Oconee & USA Swimming Registration Fees - $115 ($50 SO - $65 USA Swimming)
Escrow Fees - $100 - Covers entry fees necessary to participate in USA Swimming sanctioned events.
Explanation of Fees
MONTHLY GROUP FEES
These fees, paid the beginning of each month are used to pay for pool rental, coaches’ salaries, and general
operation.
USA SWIMMING REGISTRATION
These fees must be paid before a child can practice with the team and will enable your child to become a
member of United States Swimming. This membership will allow swimmers to compete in USA sanctioned
meets as well as providing insurance coverage at all practices, meets, and transportation thereto. This is a
yearly fee that must be paid upon the swimmer’s registration with Swim Oconee.
ESCROW
Escrow covers the entry fees necessary for your child to participate in USS meets. It costs approximately
$30.00 per child to enter these meets, but actual cost is based upon the number of events entered. Please
understand that entry fees are paid upon entering a meet, and not based on participation in the meet.
FEES
There are multi-child discounts available...15% for a second swimmer, 25% for a third swimmer...fourth child
swims free. Please note that this discount also includes adults who participate with Swim Oconee Masters.
